The climate is warm all year round, and even in January the temperatures are 20-25°C on average, but from July to September you can expect temperatures ranging from 28-35°C.

Adventure In the north of the island, for the more adventurous, the Atlantic Ocean and beaches of Famara offer formidable conditions for surfers.

Lanzarote has some unique tourist attractions, the most exciting being the Timanfaya National Park, a "lunar landscape" shaped by violent volcanic eruptions three centuries ago.
